I really liked the progression here; from Jim’s fabulously insane rant to Katherine and Rob’s quiet thoughts, to a ramble outdoors with Chris the non-gardener. Excellent job, everyone.

When I saw the title I thought maybe I’d give this one a pass, not being a gardener myself. Wouldn’t that have been a stupid mistake! Another great podcast - the variety of voices and perspectives really makes this work wonders. Thanks everyone!

SD: sounds like we have similar approaches to gardening; I like to think of it as zen gardening: first there is a garden, then there is no garden…

Okay, I have just two words for Chris:
Push. Mower.
Seriously. I would be terrified to use anything that hooked a power source (electric or gas) up to a whirling blade.
I guess I’m not supposed to say I love Talking Stick, because I’m a contributor, but I do love it, and can’t wait for the next one.

Chris & Katherine: That’s actually the reason my father never let me mow the lawn while growing up. My mother and I bought a push reel mower and I love it so much. The noise from gas ones bugs me so much, and eliminates the whole peaceful feeling I get from gardening.
I really enjoyed this podcast. Thank you all!
